Zoella Beauty Jelly and Gelato Range | Haul & Review

I am so excited to write this post, I could possibly explode with excitement. I can just about express how proud I feel right now of Zoe. Having followed and been part of Zoe's journey since her blogging days I've seen her grow and I'm in awe at how far she has come! Enough soppy appreciation for the moment while I take you on to explore and introduce you to the new exciting summer range, Jelly and Gelato.

Zoe chose an elderflower and double cream scent for this Summer collection and I think it's fair to say that it's going to be my Summer 2017 scent. I wasn't sure how the combination was going to smell but I can assure you that it is dreamy and makes you feel like you want to bathe in it (luckily you now can). I thought initially it smelt like a very light Turkish delight, fruity scent which I love! It's so clean and refreshing which is perfect for that Summery feeling, even if you're from the UK and it's raining outside (something has to remind you that it's actually Summer doesn't it!)

As soon as I saw the photos of the ice cream van parked up in Brighton Pavilion I already knew I was in love! I must hugely congratulate the Zoella Beauty creative team, they've worked so unbelievably hard and it definitely shows through the products. The retro pastel colour scheme and design of the packaging are incredible. Such a classy, eye-catching style, not to mention how aesthetically pleasing they're going to look in the bathroom.

Unfortunately, I wasn't lucky enough to be on the PR list (a girl can dream) so I didn't receive an adorable mini Zoella Beauty deck chair, however, I decided to improvise and use a little cardboard ice cream van instead!

What's in the collection?

There are 8 products in the collection, some have been featured in other collections such as Sweet Inspirations and some are new additions:
  1. Zoella Gelato Shower Sauce - £5.00
  2. Zoella Gelato Bath Wafers - £5.00
  3. Zoella Gelato Shower Shake - £6.00
  4. Zoella Gelato Bath Frosting - £7.00
  5. Zoella Gelato Cream Body Scrub - £8.00
  6. Zoella Gelat’Eau Body Mist - £8.00
  7. Zoella Gelato Body Pudding -  £8.00
  8. Zoella Gelato Beauty Clutch - £14.00

Where can I buy the collection?

One of my favourite things about this collection is that it was launched globally. The products are available to buy from:
  • Superdrug and Feel Unique in the UK
  • Rossman in Germany
  • London Drugs in Canada
  • Ultra Beauty in USA
  • Vita in Norway
  • Target in Australia
  • Independent Pharmacies in Ireland

I placed an order as soon as I could! (I was too excited to wait for them to hit stores, oops!) I chose to initially buy 4 products as I felt I would make the most use out of these ones! The others have made their way onto my birthday wishlist *hint hint*

First up, Shower Shake. Look at this packaging, it looks like a fricken milkshake, it's even got the straw. Every little detail has been thought about! Even if I didn't intend to use this, I would have totally just bought it for the packaging and that's 100% okay! Shower Shake promises to not only cleanse skin but to moisturise it as well. Leaving your skin feeling smoother and appearing brighter.

Secondly, Shower Sauce. It looks and smells like a delicious sauce for your ice cream of dreams (please don't eat it although it smells that good). This is a body wash that lathers up and leaves your skin feeling super soft. If you love yummy shower gels then this is definitely for you.

Thirdly, Bath Frosting Milk Powder. This is a completely new product for me, in fact, I'd never heard of this before however, I am now so glad I have discovered this! This is what you call a luxury bath. I can just tell this will be the perfect partner for a luxury pamper night. Within this gorgeous tin you receive 3 sachets, simply empty the contents into your bath under warm water, swirl around and relax! Thank you, Zoe, for bringing something out that we can fully bathe it!

Lastly, but by no means least, Pink Bath Wafers. Once again, these look like actual ice cream wafers. These make such a quick and simple yummy bath with all the same relaxing qualities leaving your skin super soft and feeling moisturised.

Thank you for reading, I hope you've enjoyed it. I'd love to know your thoughts on this collection. Have you bought any of the products? What's your favourite?

Beauty and The Beast Beauty Box | Review

I am unbelievably excited to share this beauty box with you. Not only is it Beauty and The Beast themed but it contains some incredible products! To celebrate the release of Disney's Beauty and The Beast film. Latest In Beauty created this wonderful limited edition beauty box. I'm a huge Beauty and the Beast fan and knew as soon as it was released that I needed this in my life! I went to see the film in cinemas for one of my best friends birthday and I loved it. It's up there with one of my all time favourite Disney films. Oh yeah, I said it!

This box is incredible, it's essentially a giant vintage Beauty and The Beast book with a wood effect on the outside. I mean it would look amazing on a bookshelf. I would be lying if I said I bought this just for the products, I definitely wanted this box because of the packaging! It's amazing! This is an essential for any Disney fan!

What do you get in the box?

This limited edition box is a selection of makeup, skincare and haircare products suitable for any Disney princess inspired by the fairy tale itself. The products range from travel size to full size and the contents are worth around £80 which is a bargain considering you can pick up this box for £15!

  1. Burt's Bees Lipstick (Shade may vary; Blush Basin or Sunset Cruise
  2. L'occitane Roses et Reines Hand & Nail Cream 10ml
  3. Soigne Betteraves Rouge Nail Polish 10ml
  4. Latest In Beauty Gold Compact Mirror
  5. Gatineau Radiance Enhancing Gommage 75ml
  6. Oribe Gold Lust Dry Shampoo 43ml
  7. Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet 10ml

I've decided to share some close-up photos of the products in-case you need any more persuading on whether to buy it or not! It's a no-brainer really!

This box is still available and on sale for £15, you can get your hands on your own box here

First up, Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet. I have been LOVING using this product, not only is the packaging a gorgeous pale pink colour but it works like a dream, leaving your skin super soft and comfortable, no sticky feeling after being applied. Simply apply morning and evening to a clean face. I've currently paused using this little beauty for the moment as it's a perfect travel size to take with me on holiday!

Secondly, Gatineau Radiance Enhancing Gommage and Oribe Gold Lust Dry Shampoo which I had to photograph in the inside of the box just because of the gorgeous detail of the illustrations of the characters! I haven't yet tried the radiance enhancing gommage simply because I wasn't sure exactly what it was until I read up about it! It promises to 'clear pores, refine skin texture and immediately reveal a radiant fresh, glowing complexion' which I am now super excited to try! The Oribe Gold Lust Dry Shampoo even sounds magical and something out of a fairytale. This is again a perfect little travel size which I will definitely be taking with me on holiday! It will be perfect for sprucing up my hair on the go leaving it touchably soft and smooth!

Next up, Burt's Bees Lipstick in the shade Blush Basin. I was secretly hoping for this shade! It's a gorgeous pinky nude shade. I can already tell it's going to be one of my favourite everyday lipsticks. With a super moisturising and comfortable formula, it gives the illusion of a lip balm but with colour creating a lipstick! Not to mention the gorgeous packaging.

Lastly, Latest In Beauty Gold Compact Mirror and L'occitane Roses et Reines Hand & Nail Cream. To continue the inspired theme throughout the box is a gorgeous rose on the top of the compact mirror, very elegant and classy. Perfect for carrying around in your handbag. I haven't yet had a chance to try the L'occitane Roses et Reines Hand & Nail Cream although I'm looking forward to it as it is enriched with shea butter and vitamin E. It smells beautiful and not too overpowering which is always important.

If you've got this far then I want to thank you for reading this lengthy post. I wanted to include as much information about the products as I could but feedback would be appreciated on whether you would like these posts to be short and sweet. Please let me know your thoughts in the comments!

Are you going to buy one of these boxes?

Garnier: A Month Without Make-Up Wipes Challenge | Beauty

I'm very late to the game with the transition from makeup wipes to a cleanser to remove my makeup. I've tried a range of micellar waters but I've never been majorly impressed with them. About a year ago I came to the realisation of how bad it is for your skin to remove your makeup with a makeup wipe and leave it at that. Since then I've been on the hunt for a fast and effective way to remove my makeup. I have to admit it, after a long day I just want to remove my makeup as fast as possible and go straight to bed so using a make-up wipe seemed like the easiest and best option. However I soon realised how bad this was for my skin and knew that I needed to improve my skincare reigme.

That's when I decided to set myself a goal of a month without make-up wipes. A way that I could access the difference in my skin by using different products to remove my make-up. I used to use Garnier Cleansing wipes which I thought did a pretty good job at removing make-up!

A couple of months ago I was kindly gifted the new Garnier Cleansing Milk with Aloe Extract to test and review. I was really excited to test this as I'd never tried a cleasing milk before. I wanted to give it a proper run for its money and really put it to the test. So I decided to use it every day for the past month on the days I've been wearing make-up. I instantly started to notice a difference and improvement in my skin in just two weeks. My skin is so much softer and feels healthier once I've removed my makeup, this is compared to using normal facial wipes to remove make-up. Also comparing it to micellar water I felt there was a huge difference. This cleansing milk is smoother and so much more hydrating. I loved the feeling of how it left my skin after. It felt soft, clean and refreshed. I was worried whether it was going to leave an oily finish to the face however that wasn't a problem at all. It's gentle around the eyes to remove any mascara, eyeshadow or eyeliner. I really liked that you didn't have to work at it to get it to come off, it was natural and completely pain-free! It didn't make the chore of taking off makeup feel like a chore! Which is something which was really important to me. It didn't take up a huge amount of time either, possibly even quicker than using a make-up wipe!

How do you use the cleansing milk you might be wondering?
Well, in fact it's actually very simple! Simply, pour some of the cleansing milk onto a cotton pad I like to use the large cotton pads from the baby section in Superdrug! Start with a small amount because you can always add more! Next, just swipe the cotton pad over your face and you'll begin to see your make-up melting away onto the cotton pad, as if by magic! I like to go over my face a few times to make sure I've got all the make-up and dirt off of my face. It's as easy as that! I much prefer using the cleansing milk to anything else as it's so soft and moisturing.

Garnier have recently brought out some other cleansing milks in the Skin Active Range. I'm looking forward to trying the honey flower one! (They depend on the type of skin you have whether its normal to combination or dry to very dry skin)

I'm officially converted to using cleansing milk as part of my routine and don't want to return back to the dreaded make-up wipes!

Have you tried a cleansing milk before?

Marks and Spencer Summer In A Box | Beauty

M&S Summer In A Box
Is this the best summer beauty box there is?

If you follow me on any social media then you'll know how obsessed I am with beauty boxes, limited edition or themed, I love and want them all! When I spotted this beauty box worth over £105 in products I knew I had to have it, and for only £10 I knew it was a bargain! Spending £40 across clothing, homeware and beauty allows you to pick up the box for just £10. Unfortunately, this deal  was short and sweet and was only available from the 22nd - 26th June. It was an excellent deal for me as I already had £40 worth of goods in my basket so was able to check out immediately as soon as I had heard about it.

One of the reasons I love collecting beauty boxes is for the gorgeous packaging. Marks and Spencer have done well with this simple yet glamorous luxury approach to a beauty box with a black base and white lid with the logo in the centre as well as a removable coral sleeve on top. I will definitely be keeping and displaying this box in my room!

These are the products inside the summer box. Containing 3 FULL-SIZE products which I think is incredible! Here's what you get: (L-R)

Philip Kingsley Instant Beach Texturising Spray – 25ml
Studio 10 Glow 2 Go Youth Lift Glow-plexion – 15ml
Leighton Denny Nail Polish In Coral Reef – 12ml
M&S SunSmart SPF 30 Sun Lotion – 200ml
Filorga Time-Filler Wrinkes Correction Cream – 15ml
James Reed Gradual Tan Sleep Tan Mask Body – 100ml
Eyeko Sport Waterproof Mascara – 4ml (I actually got sent 8ml (full size) instead!)
Alpha H Daily Essential Moisturiser SPF 50 – 12ml

You can check out all the details about these products in more detail over on the Marks and Spencer website linked here.

I haven't yet tried any of these products but I'm super excited too! Coral Reef looks like such a gorgeous summery colour to wear on your nails, perfect for this time of year and going on holiday! I'm definitely looking forward to a pamper evening where I can treat myself by painting my nails followed by a top up of gradual tan! I'll be sure to post a review on these products once I've tried them fully! You might even see them in a recent favourites post if they're a hit!

Did you manage to pick up this fabulous beauty box or have you tried any of these products yourself?
