Here we are again with another haul! Looking at my blog it looks like I've been on a huge spending spree but would you believe I've been collecting and saving for many months and finally only just uploading and putting together these blog posts so I apologise if these seem a little late or repetitive. In my Beauty Bay haul I picked up 8/9 Makeup Geek Eyeshadows, 2 Gerard Cosmetics Liquid Lipsticks, Anastasia Beverly Hills sharpener (just because I had to spend £2 more for super speedy delivery so why not!) & Eyeko Liquid Liner (Free).

L-R: (Top Row) Taupe Notch, Twilight, Prom Night, Shimma Shimma, Sensuous. (Bottom Row) Unexpected, Petal Pusher, Confection & Confection |
After awhile of looking and longing for makeup geek eye shadows I've joined the hype! However, I can't totally be converted across to a z-palette. I love how organised and presentable the Mac palettes look. The prices of makeup geek eye shadows are at least half the price of Mac eye shadows with such good quality as well.
I spent so long reading several blog posts and looking at so many swatch photos to decide which ones I should buy. I originally thought about only buying a few although I wanted to start building a collection and having colours which I could use in several different ways to create multiple looks. I finally decided on ordering 8 shades, hard decision though and could've ordered plenty more! I chose; Prom Night, Sensuous, Confection, Petal Pusher, Twilight, Taupe Notch, Unexpected & Shimma Shimma. However when my order arrived I had two Confection pans and no petal pusher however I got in touch with Beauty Bay on Twitter and they were extremely helpful and sent it out to me the next day as well as letting me keep the 2nd Confection pan because of the inconvenience caused which was very kind of them!

L-R: Cher & 1995 |
I am in love with these liquid lipsticks! I would almost go as far as saying they are my favourite! I picked up the shades; Cher 'muted purple' & 1995 'mocha toned nude'. I'd definitely say that Cher had undertones of purple but looks more of a pinky colour and 1995 is more of a burnt red (perfect for autumn!) I now want to buy every colour. The staying power is amazing, I honestly can't fault it what so ever. It is so soft on the lips and often feels like you aren't wearing anything on them, you almost have to keep checking in the mirror, although it seems to always be perfectly on as if you've just applied it, even after you've had a pizza feast. It lasted on a night out and to me that's perfect and everything you could want in a liquid lipstick. It dries matte super quick but is still quite easy to make small adjustments without it being too stubborn!
Overall I am super happy with what I ordered! I was a little sceptical about the Liquid Lipsticks as I seem to be building up quite a collection but I'm super glad I bought some to try! I'm now looking forward to building up my palette of Makeup Geek eyeshadows!
Have you tried any Makeup Geek Eyeshadows or Gerard Cosmetic Liquid Lipsticks?
- Love Hanney xo
